Equine excellence and fashion will form a cocktail today at the Mahalaxmi race course where Ashwin Gidwani Productions (AGP) and the Royal Western India Turf Club (RWITC) will come together for the AGP Multi Million Experience.
Equine excellence and fashion will form a cocktail today at the Mahalaxmi race course where Ashwin Gidwani Productions (AGP) and the Royal Western India Turf Club (RWITC) will come together for the AGP Multi Million Experience. Featured amongst the latter is The AGP Multi Million to be run at 5 pm, with Rs 25 lakh in prize money.u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0 
The RWITC is set to host the Dr Jagjit Singh Tribute Million, which would be in his memory. The race will be run at 5.30 pm. Jagjit Singh was an owner-member at the racing club. The singer's wife, Chitra Singh will be present to give away the prizes.
For those hooves (pun intended) interests lie outside the racetrack, there is plenty of off course entertainment. There is a fashion show featuring Azeem Khan's couture where there is an award for the best-dressed lady.
Singers Anushka Manchanda, Shibani Kashyap and others will render their popular songs and there is also a performance on the drums by Sanjay Maroo. Kalpana Shah of Tao Art Gallery will have an exhibition. Add to this is a Maharashtrian cultural programme, bringing dance, art forms and cuisine.u00a0
The first race begins at 1.30 pm; entrance for non members is Rs 30.
