The new attraction, termed "Fast & Furious-Supercharged", opened its doors on Wednesday, reports Efe.

A sneak preview of the ride was attended by its stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson and Jason Statham on Tuesday.

"We are so excited to continue to give you the best that we can create and with integrity and this one is for you Pablo, this one is for you," said Diesel at the opening ceremony, referring to deceased fellow actor and friend Paul Walker who died in 2013 in a car accident.

Sequences featured in the 3D ride are original and not extracted from films.

These were recorded using 'chroma' cinematic style to which were added special effects of movement, air and water to make the experience life-like and includes a leap through the air simulated at over 190 kph.
