Shocked and traumatised at the sight of his wife having sex with another woman from the locality, a 38-year-old disabledman set himself ablaze on March 16 at Otascheme in Nigdi.The man succumbed to burn injuries on Tuesday.
According to police, the deceased’s wife and her partner abused him physically and made fun of him, as he was obese and disabled, since the past two and half years. PI Nandkishor Bhosale-Patil of Nigdi police station said, “The man’s wife and her partner used to beat him up and throw him out of the house so that the two could spend time together.”

A complaint against the duo was registered by the deceased’s brother. “We haven’t arrested the women yet. They both have been charged for abetment to suicide, causing bodily hurt and common intention, and will be arrested soon,” said Patil.u00a0
