FIFA World Cup: Brazilians' discontent evident

Paulo Coelho, Brazil's most famous writer, has openly said that he would not be a part of the 2014 World Cup.

He has refused to come to Brazil during the World Cup, saying that the common people of Brazil needed better infrastructure facilities in health, education and transport systems rather than this World Cup.

That Coelho was right was evident when the Brazilians' frustration was seen on a building just outside the Arena de Sao Paulo, the stadium where the inaugural match between Brazil and Croatia will take place on June 12.

This picture was taken from just outside the media centre inside the Itaquerao Stadium. It proves that some in Brazil are unhappy over the hosting of the Cup!
