A major fire broke out in a timber store in Mulund on Wednesday night. The incident took place at Devidayal road near panch rasta in Mulund west at around 9.40pm.

Mumbai: A fire broke out in a timber store in Mulund on Wednesday night. The incident took place at Devidayal road near panch rasta in Mulund west at around 9.40pm. The fire started in the shop's godown.


Fire officials from Mulund fire station reached the spot and the situation was brought under control at around 12.00am.

No casualties were reported. The shop named Hari Om Timber housed plywood and timber goods. A Short circuit is believed to have triggered the fire.
