A history-sheeter criminal Javed Ansari was shot near Evershine city in Nalasopara east by two shooters at around 11 pm on Tuesday.
Ansari has been moved to IASIS hospital in Evershine city with five bullet injuries and is in a critical condition. Police are now working on all possible angles and questioning his close aides pertaining to the matter.

As per the police sources close to Ansari, 2 shooters opened fire on Ansari due to past dispute between them.
Ansari was also made accused of firing at a chawl builder Pawan Bidlan in October 2012 and many criminal cases such as half murder and attempt to murder has also been registered against him in the past in Nalasopara police station.
