Borussia Dortmund's team bus was rocked by three explosions on Tuesday that resulted in defender Marc Bartra's wrist being broken.

Yesterday, when the 26-year-old footballer underwent surgery, his fiancée Melissa Jimenez (29) rushed to be by his bedside, reported The Sun. The couple have a daughter Gala (2) and are set to marry this June.

Bartra posted this picture on Instagram and wrote: "Hello everybody! As you can see I am doing much better. Thank you everybody for all your support and your messages! All my strength to my teammates, supporters and fans and to @bvb09 for tonight's match!"
