Mumbai: The crime branch of Mumbai police with the help of civic officials nabbed four bogus doctors today.

All the accused were arrested from suburban Wadala, police said, adding that none of them were qualified doctors but were running practise.

"Officers of the economic offences wing had formed 13 teams to work on the case," said DCP (detection) Dhananjay Kulkarni.

Every team had an official from the health department of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, an EOW officer and a constable.

After getting tip-offs, police conducted a raid and arrested the accused under relevant sections of the IPC and Maharashtra Medical Practitioners Act.
