The 11th Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India was in office from 2008-2013. His tenure stands out for his work done in turning the office of the CAG into a powerful body. The work put in by him, aged 68 now, and his team in the 2G Scam became the cornerstone of his tenure. Currently he is chairman of the UN Panel of External Auditors and Honorary Advisor to the Railways and member of the Railway Kaya Kalp Council. Born in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, he is a 1972 Kerala cadre IASâu00c2u0080u00c2u0088officer who has held several positions in Kerala Government. At the center, he served in ministries of commerce and defence. He also served as secretary in the banking division of Ministry of Finance. A Hindu College graduate, he also has a master's degree in economics from Delhi School of Economics (DSE) and a master's degree in public administration from Harvard University, USA, in 1988.


Ramachandra Guha


This 58-year-old historian has special interests in environmental, social, political and cricket history. He is a regular contributing columnist of various newspapers and magazines in India. He has authored books on topics as diverse as cricket, environment, politics and history. Born in Dehradun, he graduated from St. Stephen's College and later did his masters from the Delhi School of Economics. He taught at a number of foreign universities including University of California, Berkeley, Yale University, Stanford University and Oslo University to name a few. He also held important positions at the London School of Economics and Political Science. His masterpiece on cricket 'A Corner of a Foreign Field' was awarded the Daily Telegraph Cricket Society Book of the Year prize for 2002. His latest book Gandhi Before India (2013), has been widely acclaimed. Among the various awards he has won the Padma Bhushan, India's third highest civilian award, in 2009.

Diana Edulji

Diana is one of the few cricketers with extensive administrative experience. She was always attracted to the sport from a young age and it was Lala Amarnath who first spotted her talents during a camp. The skills she developed during her initial days helped her make it to the Indian team with ease. Her exploits as an Indian cricketer became a part of women's cricket folklore. She played all her domestic cricket for Railways and was a successful left-arm spin bowler. She started her career in 1975 and soon graduated to became captain of India. She has been a proud recipient of the Arjuna Award in 1983 and Padma Shri in 2002. Post her playing days, she is still associated with the Railways managing the sports division. She was also the first and only female to be part of the Railway Ranji Trophy selection panel, which she regards as a rare honour.

Vikram Limaye

Currently the managing director & CEO of Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IDFC) Limited, he started his professional career with Arthur Andersen in Mumbai in 1987. He worked in the audit and business advisory services group and also did a stint at the consumer banking group of Citibank. Thereafter he moved to the United States in 1994 to pursue his MBA and worked at the Wall Street for eight years in various roles. His roles were varied in the sectors of investment banking, capital markets, structured finance and credit portfolio management. He returned to Mumbai in 2004 and has become a highly regarded name in the banking sector. A HR College of Commerce and Economics graduate, he also holds a MBA in finance and multinational management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, USA. He is a regular contributor in various government and industry panels especially on infrastructure, economic policy, markets, trade, minority affairs etc.
