Dinakar Jadhav, who has displayed four of his paintings in the exhibition, says, “I have tried to display the difference between Ganapati celebrations in today’s era vis-a-vis the yesteryears. I feel that the uniqueness attached to the city’s celebrations has been lost lately and every pandal looks the same. I have also tried to show the commonness of the Lord by portraying him as an ordinary person.”
