Arjun Kadhe would be the lone Indian in the singles main draw of the junior French Open that began on Monday.
Kadhe, who trains under Hemant Bendrey in Pune, left for Paris last night since the junior events start on June 2.
“To be in the main draw of the French Open is difficult and it is a matter of pride to be India’s sole entry in the singles. I hope to give my best,” said Kadhe.u00a0

The Indian junior contingent will also hope that women’s national champion Rutuja Bhosale qualifies for the main draw of the girl’s singles category. The 16-year-old would start her qualifiers today.
