New Delhi: India's first marketplace for unboxed and refurbished smartphones, Overcart has collaborated with chinese tech giant Xiaomi to sell renovated units of the company's budget Android smartphone Redmi 1S.
The refurbishments are conducted by official Xiaomi service partners. The price for the refurbished units will start at Rs 4599 and unboxed phones will be sold at Rs 4999.

Potential buyers will be able to purchase the units of the same through online registrations which started on Friday. Xiaomi has increased the number of available units of the Redmi 1S since its pilot sale in January.
Overcart will sell the devices after extensively testing the unboxed and refurbished devices before offering them for sale.
Xiaomi service partners will conduct the refurbishments. The product can be returned within 14 days after purchase and a six month warranty by Xiaomi is also being given.
The Redmi 1S is the first phone of the Redmi family made available in India. It offers the best quality and user experience and at a very affordable price point.
The device offers a great 720p HD screen, an 8MP camera that delivers superfine quality images, great battery life and a range of software features.
The dual SIM Redmi 1S features a 4.7-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. The device is clocked at 1.6 GHz quad-core processor complimented by 1GB worth of RAM. Redmi 1S gets 8GB internal storage capacity which is expandable up to 32 GB. The device runs on Android OS, v4.3 (Jelly Bean).
The device gets 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash and 1.6-megapixel front camera. Fueling its operation is a Li-Ion 2000 mAh battery for long lasting usage.
