Lance A Lot is one of those games that’s just meant to be played at social events. The concept is simple. You have a character and you need to strike your opponent off their rocket. It’s just like a regular joust, just that there are rockets here instead of horses. It’s a four-player free-for-all with maps that you can interact with.

The game is easy to pick up, the power-ups are very useful and there are modes like King of the Hill and Capture the flag other than free-for-all to keep you interested. Everything works as it should and this game is a lot of fun a few drinks down, provided you have enough controllers for four people.
Lance A Lot, however, features only offline multiplayer so it isn’t a game you can enjoy unless you are at some sort of soiree.
The system requirements are low and the game will run on almost any halfway decent PC. That said the low-low price point is just the icing on the cake. If you are looking for a game to play with friends at your next social gathering, get this.
