Singhania, who is the first Indian racing at the Finali Mondiali, finished third in his category — Coppa Shell — and 14th in overall out of 43 participants in Race 2 of the event.
He narrowly missed the podium on Thursday in Race 1 in his category and was 12th overall out of 43 participants.
Commenting on his win, Singhania said, “It is a proud moment for me to secure a podium place in this tough and most competitive race. Getting to the podium from the 26th position was a big challenge and I was up for it.”
This extravagant racing event, being hosted outside Europe for the first time in history, is a real treat for Ferrari fans as the occasion will witness over 250 exotic and limited series Ferrari cars in four extraordinary days of excitement and spectacle.
Singhania won the 2014 Ferrari Pirelli Open held at Brands Hatch in Great Britain, becoming the first and the only Indian to achieve this feat, while achieving a podium finish at the Britcar Championship at Oulton Park.
