It rained goals in the Mumbai Magicians-MHAL Super League at the MHAL Stadium yesterday with the score-keepers being troubled 17 times in the day's two matches.
In the first match, Mumbai Customs recovered from a 0-1 deficit to romp to a 5-1 victory over Sports Authority of India (SAI). For Customs, Alden D’Souza scored twice, while BK Muthanna, Jayesh Jadhav and Deepak Yadav got one apiece. SAI managed to score from an own goal.
Later in the day, defending champions Central Railway warded off a late challenge from Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers (RCF) to register a 7-4 win.

Devinder Walmiki played a stellar role in Central Railway’s win, scoring twice and providing the pass for the final goal which was scored by Boon D’Souza. Shashi Topno, Harmeet Singh and Ajaz Qureshi contributed a goal each. For the losing side, Vijay Thapa scored a brace, while Vinod Yadav and Upendra Pillay netted one apiece.
