Dashyang Kachru scored the match-winning goal for the Colaba outfit in the 27th minute. However, it was Kishan's four saves that proved to be difference between the sides. Kishan, 19, who resides in the transit camp at Cuffe Parade, wants to fulfill his father Narayan's dream of playing professional football.

"My father used to play for the same club 10 years back. He encourages me a lot because he couldn't live his dream of playing at a higher level. Earlier, the club was called the Colaba Youngsters, and later renamed to PIFA Colaba FC," Kishan, a second year B Com student of Siddharth College, said.

Playing football fetches him some stipend that helps him contribute to his family's income. "I am indebted to my coach Nirvan Shah who gives us a stipend for playing. He also takes care of all my football needs and encourages me to finish my studies," added Kishan, who draws inspiration from Gianlugi Buffon and Fernando Torres.

Shah was all praise for his ward, and said that he was a quick learner. "His performance today (against Kenkre FC) wasn't as great, but he has saved us in tight situations many times in the past," he said.
