With conditions apt to play, both teams attacked each other right from the word go. All the girls were very quick on the outfield and controlled the ball well.
During the penalty shootout, Deniese Periera, skipper Ira Gore and Aishwarya Ahir netted for the Mahim outfit, while Saiya Mehta scored for Cathedral and John Cannon.
In another contest, Mary Immaculate Girls' High School (Borivli) beat Carmel of St Joseph School (Malad) 2-0.
