Goldi, Nidhi shine at state level athletic championships

Goldi Shahi of Sports Authority of India (Kandivli) with 23 points, having won four gold medals and one silver, was awarded the YA Gole award for the best woman athlete in the Bombay YMCA state level athletic championships on Sunday.

Goldi won gold in the 100m (13.0 seconds), 800m (2:23.4 secs), long jump and shot put events.u00a0

Thane’s Nidhi Singh put in an equally notable performance. Nidhi aggregated 20 points by winning gold medals in the 100m, 200m, 400m and 800m in the girls U-16 section. u00a0
