Do you find solace in a pint of beer and a juicy burger? Then head to British Brewery Company in Goregaon, says Kaveri Waghela
After a shopping spree in a nearby mall, we decide to go to the British Brewery Company (BBC), a pub cum restaurant, to reward ourselves with some scrumptious food and drinks.

Located on the third floor of the mall, the place is easy to miss. It is only after calling the manager that we come to know about its location. As we enter, we are transformed into a relaxed environment that is mostly done in wood, while vintage pop-art posters adorn the wall.
The server hands us an iPad menu. Since, it is a local British pub-style restaurant, the food mainly comprises salads, burgers, pizzas, sizzlers along with drinks. We start with Cheese Corn Balls (Rs 140), Forest soup (Rs 175) and Countryside Chicken Burger (Rs 294). The cornballs are sweeter than we had imagined. The burger is big and undoubtedly, one of the best ones we have tried off late. The chicken is not overcooked and a generous dash of mayonnaise and cheese makes it ideal. The soup with its intense coriander, mushroom and other herbs is creamy and comforting but lacks flavour.
For the mains, we order a huge, 10-inch Mediterranean Chicken Pizza with an assortment of black olives, tomatoes, jalapeños and cheese. The thin crust is the hero here; the taste is fairly average. Lastly, we order a Vegetarian Penne Arrabiatta that again is passable. The sauce is rather runny and too tangy for our liking.
