Replying to a debate on the Finance Bill in the Lok Sabha, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee said the white paper is in the final stages of drafting.

"We will bring white paper on black money. The government is awaiting the reports about the estimate of black money stashed abroad which are being prepared by three independent groups," he added.

He reiterated that the national economy is on the right path of growth despite constraints from within and externally.

Mukherjee expressed confidence that the Indian economy is resilient enough to overcome all the impediments, and attributed this to the record food production expected this year.

"The jute mills have been asked to step up their output to take care of the storage of food grains," he said.

The House has passed the Finance Bill, 2012.
