Ace discus thrower Vikas Gowda topped the world rankings with a sensational throw of 66.28m in the Old Style Challenge in Oklahoma, USA on Thursday.
His gold medal winning throw was good enough to smash the existing National Record of 64.96m incidentally set by Gowda himself in 2007.

“I am really happy. I was confident of doing well going into the competition, but I know I can do better,” said a delighted Vikas.
