"Leander, you have been an inspiration for me right from the start. The first time I thought of winning an Olympic medal was after I saw you win one. You are the nation's pride," Dutt wrote on Twitter alongside this picture after the two athletes met at the SAICON 2017 (International Conference on Sports Medicine & Sports Sciences) in New Delhi yesterday.
Union Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore inaugurated the event that also had Olympians like wrestler Karnam Malleswari and former hockey stars V Bhaskaran and Vece Paes in attendance.
