Shopaholics are in for a treat over the next few days as the Weaves exhibition is being held in the city. On offer will be handloom products such as cotton dresses, sarees and purses as well as woolen wear. Weavers from all over the country will assemble and exhibit their works.
While branded products and Western wear may grab more wardrobe space nowadays, such exhibitions prove that handloom products are still popular.
Apart from the traditional sarees and dupattas, the exhibition will also feature home decor options such as embroidered cushion covers and other knick-knacks.
The Guide loved the woolen dresses on sale which are affordably priced.
Sneha Kulkarni, a visitor at the exhibition, says, “The woolen collection of dresses are the best buys. I also liked the silk purses and select paintings on display.”
