This nearly six-decade-old Udipi restaurant has and continues to dish out the most delicious, authentic food from that part of the coastal Karnataka with a homely touch that stays for long. Their crispy, piping-hot Medu Vadas (Rs 40), aromatic Filter Kaapi (Rs 25) and heady Sheera (Rs 40) is enough to settle any doubts that first timers might have at this haven for snacks. The list is endless, from Dosas to Uttapams and Idlis, it’s tough to pick a clear winner, if you have a weakness for the earthy Udipi cuisine.
At any given hour, the space is packed with office goers, collegians and any one in search of a hearty, hygienic and quick bite in this buzzing eastern suburb.
