National Award-winning director Hansal Mehta's son today underwent a successful cataract operation.
The happy father took to Twitter to share the news with his fans.
He revealed superstar Salman Khan's picture in a newspaper was the first thing his son saw after the surgery.
"Son had a cataract operation today. First sign of vision was when he recognised @BeingSalmanKhan in the papers!" Mehta tweeted.
The "Shahid" helmer also posted a picture of his son.
Mehta will sit behind the lens for "Aligarh", a film on the real life incident of Dr Shrinivas Ramchandra Siras, who was terminated from his job because of his sexual-orientation.
