After manager threatened to upload girl's private pictures, her relatives beat him up and drove off with him in broad daylight, they were later nabbed by the police
The Juhu police have arrested six people who barged into a club in Juhu and allegedly bashed up the manager on the club premises yesterday afternoon. They then put him in Scorpio car and drove towards Worli, where the police tracked them later in the evening.

Club Millennium’s banquet manager, Ejham Ali, had befriended a girl who he had met on a social networking site. They got in touch through a common friend. The girl, who works with a travel company, had also met Ali several times, police said.
On Tuesday morning, Ali met the girl and they had a heated argument, during which Ali allegedly threatened that he would post objectionable photos of her on the social networking site.
A family member who heard the conversation decided to take matters into his own hands, and decided to thrash Ali. The girl had also complained to her family about Ali before.
Director cum social activist Ashok Pandit said, “At around 2 pm, six people came into Club Millenium and directly went to the first floor and started beating up banquet manager Ehjam Ali. They then dragged him down. I was about to leave the club, but when I saw the incident, I went and tried to disperse them. However, they pushed me back and said that it was their personal matter, and told me to stay away”.
“They beat him black and blue and then put him into a Scorpio and escaped. I managed to note down the car’s registration number and immediately informed the police control room,” added Pandit. Ali is admitted in Nair hospital.
“In the preliminary investigation, we came to know that Ali was allegedly harassing a girl, and when the girl’s relatives came to know about
this, they bashed him up and abducted him,” said dy Commissioner of Police Pratap Dighavkar
“The accused are residents of the BDD chawl and Sewri area. We have taken them into custody and will investigate the case. The accused have been booked under several relevant sections of abduction, wrongful confinement and assault,” added Dighavkar.u00a0
