Shreyan Pai and Aryan More of Parle Tilak English Medium School wrote a new chapter in Mumbai's cricket history when they put on 425 unbeaten runs for the first wicket in 45 overs during their second round Harris Shield match against Cambridge ICSE Kandivili at Shivaji Park yesterday. 


What a pair!
Pai remained not out on 215 from 150 balls and hit 22 fours and one six. More on the other hand, stayed unbeaten on 161 off 120 balls with 17 boundaries. Riding on Pai and More’s knock, Tilak English Medium School posted 425 runs in 45 overs before restricting Cambridge ICSE to just 123 for nine in 45 overs. Sanyam Jain was the top scorer for Cambridge with 37 while Yuvraj Bhati (5/6) was the pick of Tilak bowlers.

Dev does a Laker, Kumble
In another match, 15-year-old right-arm off-break bowler Dev Patel did a Jim Laker and Anil Kumble by picking up all 10 wickets for N Jamnabai Narsee High School who defeated Rajhans Vidyalaya by 83 runs, at Oval Maidan. Patel also top scored for Jamnabai Narsee with 35 as they posted 112 runs in 36.1 overs batting first.

Sanmeet Singh Anand and Vinayak Sarkhot were the wreckers-in-chief for Rajhans Vidyalaya with 4 for 31 and 3 for 24 respectively.
