'Harry Potter' cast pays heartfelt tribute to Alan Rickman

British film, TV and stage actor Alan Rickman, best known for playing Professor Severus Snape in the 'Harry Potter' film series, died of cancer on Thursday at the age of 69 (Read more). As soon as the news broke, tributes started pouring in for the legendary actor on social media.

Rickman's co-stars from the popular film franchise - Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Matthew Lewis, among others - and author JK Rowling, too, remembered the veteran.
