Tottenham Spurs manager Harry Redknapp has said that he would love to have Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez in his team but his club can't afford him.
Redknapp has also refused to make any summer signing and feels his team will be better when couple of key players make their return from the medical room, the Mirror reports.
"I don't see us doing anything.I couldn't say we have anyone in mind," said Redknapp.
"Tevez? No, I like him, but we can't afford his wages. He is on more than pounds 200,000 a week. That's way beyond anything we pay. I like him as a player though," he added.
Redknapp also expressed contentment over the return of key players like English international, Steve Dawson, Ledley King and Tom Huddlestone from injuries.
Dawson was on bench for their last game against Swansea and is in contention to start Tottenham's FA Cup tie against Cheltenham on Saturday.
"I've got Michael Dawson and Ledley King coming back, so we are fine there. The young right-back Kyle Walker has done fine, and left-back is fine, with cover from Danny Rose," he added "Tom Huddlestone will come back into midfield, too, so really we are fine," he further added.
