Hazare to announce new 'Team Anna' on Nov 24

“Anna is announcing the name of his new organisation on November 24 in Ralegan Siddhi. Also, several India Against Corruption (IAC) activists will finalise whether they will be supporting Hazare or not,” ” said Chaudhari.

The decision to announce a new team was taken after former Team Anna member, Arvind Kejriwal, decided to float a political party for the aam aadmi. Kejriwal would be announcing his party’s name and manifesto on November 28 in Delhi.
Chaudhari said Anna looked better and as enthusiastic about start a new chapter of his resuming anti-corruption agitation from January 30.

He said all the activists were concerned about Anna’s health and decided to meet him in Ralegan Siddhi. “In a closed-door meeting with Anna, we our future course of action when second phase of agitation is initiated from Gandhi Maidan in Patna. Like Mahatma Gandhi, Anna will travel all over India through train. He may call for an agitation at Ramleela Maidan in Delhi,” Chaudhhari said.

Currently, Anna is busy in finalising the new Team Anna, comprising 150 core members. In the new team, equal representation would be given to retired IAS, IPS, CBI Central Vigilance Committee (CVC) and veteran social activists.

Chaudhari said, “Anna wanted to maintain a balance in his new team. The state-level core committee will also be announced subsequently.”

Anna’s personal assistant Datta Awari said the social crusader is busy finalising the new team and wants to do it as soon as possible. He also said Anna was connecting the entire nation through online registration for the new organisation.

Former army chief general V K Singh, activists P V Rajagopal and Rajender Singh, former DGP of Uttar Pradesh Prakash Singh, mediaperson Minhas Merchant, former bureaucrat Bhure Lal, justice Santosh Hegde and agriculture expert Devender Sharma, want to be members of the new 
Team Anna.
