Thousands throng airport; politicians nowhere to be seen
After receiving discharge from Medicity Hospital in New Delhi, Anna Hazare reached the Lohegaon Airport by a Kingfisher Airlines flight. Political leaders were absent to greet the anti-corruption crusader.

Even though the news came in very late, thousands of Hazare supporters gathered at the airport to greet him. The police had to struggle to keep the jostling supporters away as they kept racing forward to shake hands with Hazare.

Hazare appeared fit but tired. He even waved to the enthusiastic supporters. Hazare got into a Tata Safari waiting to take him to Ralegansiddhi.
It was learnt that that Hazare would take rest for the entire day today and will not meet anyone. A Gramsabha has been planned today at 4 pm.
Core members of Hazare's team are slated to meet him September 10 and 11 at his vilage to discuss the future course of the fight against corruption.
