Get ready for a musical extravaganza of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal as Hellwind is set to perform in the city for the first time. This is the first performance by the Mumbai-based band which consists of five members who have played with various other veteran bands. Band Member Sahil Makhija says, “Though we all hail from various bands, we have come together to form Hellwind because of our common interest in the music of the 80s.
The mutual love for Hard Rock / Heavy Metal bonds all of us together. Through our performances, we pay tribute to that era of music.” Speaking about the performance at Hard Rock Café Makhija, says, “The show will be a tribute to the music of the 80s i.e. of George Michael and others. To get that extra feel, we will be putting on black T-shirts and leather jackets. We expect a good turnout of music buffs, who will definitely have the time of their lives.”
Guitarist Kirron Kumar is thrilled about performing in the city. He exclaims, “I’m super-excited to perform in the city. It might not be as crowded as Mumbai but it’s enjoyable to perform amongst the college and younger crowds.” Drummer Sahil Makhija says, “This is the first show ever for Hellwind and that too in the city of music lovers. Obviously, it is very special for us. Pune is a fun city and when it comes to music people are equally enthusiastic about diverse kinds of music.”
Brimming with creativity and enthusiasm the band comprises of Akshay Deodhar (vocals), Rajarshi Bhattacharyya (guitars) and Aditya Kadam (bass) apart from and Kiron Kumar (guitar) and Sahil Makhija (drums).
