Cavill, 31, who plays Superman in the Warner Bros/DC Comics project, has promised that Zack Snyder's direction will give viewers a 'visual spectacle', reported Digital Spy.
"We're making cinematic history, we're doing Batman, we're doing Superman and it's all happening at the same time.
Fingers crossed that it is going to be as exciting as I think it is," Cavill said. When asked if he was offering co-star Ben Affleck advice on playing a superhero, he said: "Advice? We're talking about Ben Affleck here.
"I don't need to give him any advice. He's great, he's fantastic." The upcoming movie will also introduce DC Comics heroes Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and Aquaman (Jason Momoa), as well as the iconic Superman villain Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg).
'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' is due for release on March 25, 2016.
