The actor was last seen in Gowariker's "Everest" and was recommended by him for "Gulmohar Grand", which is a finite series based on the hotel industry.
Tesshay will be seen portraying the role of a 30-something Guest Relations Manager, who is an incurable flirt, charming, and competent at his job. He is witty and has a great sense of humour.
Speaking about his role, Teeshay said: "I am extremely happy and excited to be a part of 'Gulmohar Grand' and play such an interesting character. It has been fun shooting the series which is so different from other fiction shows on television. I am overwhelmed that Ashu sir recognized my talent. I hope audiences love the show."
"Gulmohar Grand" will air on Star Plus starting May 3.
It also stars Aakanksha Singh (Annie), Gaurav Chopra (Aniruddh) and Ashim Gulati (Neel).
