Trains on both the western and central line are running late by a minimum 10-15 minutes
The cause of the trains being delayed on western line is because of certain technical work, being carried out, between Andheri and Borivali. Because of which, the trains are delayed, as they are running at a slower speed of 15kmph at certain stretches.

However, on the central line train were not delayed much, but on harbour was running 5-7 minutes late. This comes as a surprise because on Thursday there was no rains and still the train were running late.
A Central railway official said, “Over the last few days, the trains have been running late on the central line, due to heavy rains and technical issues at various locations.” Recently there was a mega block after a wall collapsed at Sandhurst Road station on Central line.
A Western Railway official confirmed that the trains were running late than the schedule because of the work in progress at several stretches, and it shall continue for few months.
