"Team your bright hot pants with a see-through tailored shirt or blouse and accessorise it with floral accessories to brighten your delicate look," says Kavita. She has more fashion advice up her sleeve. "Sheer jackets work well if teamed with metallic layers and a simple leather or steel clutch. Bright hot pants can be teamed with white and neutral colours," she says. Go for patterned leggings if showing skin is not your thing. "You can wear them with ruffled shirts or a shirt-dress." You can also get your shorts stitched according to your liking.

If you are looking for a more formal look, then try out satin shorts. If you're very conscious of your weight and you feel you can't carry off a short well than you should try the denim shorts which looks good on any type of body structure."
