Hotties who deserve more screen time
We shortlist eight dashing men who get our vote for their sizzle quotient
While our big screen has been rather monopolised by the Khans and Kapoors, there are a lot of other actors who are simply waiting in the sidelines. Here are the eight dashing men who we want to see more of, on the big screen.
Name: Neil Bhoopalam
After a meaty role in No One Killed Jessica, his geeky boy role in Shaitaan got people to sit up and notice.
Name: Rajeev Khandelwal
Once the Shah Rukh Khan of the small screen, a documentary filmmaker-turned-actor, Rajeev attained popularity overnight after he appeared on hit TV show Kahiin To Hoga. After the show came to an end, people asked him "Kyon Bhaiiya, ab kya karoge?" Thought he went on to portray some rather serious roles in Aamir and Shaitan, he exuded a lot of sex appeal.
Name: Randeep Hooda
Debut: Monsoon Wedding
In Mira Nair's Monsoon wedding, when Randeep Hooda grooved flirtatiously to the 'Chunari Chunari' number, girls went weak in their knees. His look in Sahib, Biwi Aur Gangster sent many women swooning over him.
Name: Gulshan Devaiah
An article describing Devaiah's choice of roles said he was giving bad, a good name. Both his roles in Shaitan and That Girl in Yellow Boots were of slightly dysfunctional, dangerous, yet made him so desirable. We hear he is soon to tie the knot with his Greek girlfriend. Sigh!
Name: Aamir Bashir
Debut: Split Wide Open
With every passing year, Aamir is looking hotter. His cop act in A Wednesday would put most men in uniform to shame. If only we could see more of him
Name: Namit Das
Debut: The President is Coming
An aspiring classical singer-turned-actor, Namit is the blue-eyed boy of many theatre directors in Delhi and Mumbai. He played Ranbir's confused but committed love-struck best friend in Wake Up Sid. A mischievous smile and twinkling eyes - we have got a rocking combo!
Name: Arjun Mathur
Debut: Kyun! Ho Gaya Na...
When he picked up the phone to ring his wife in a recent telecom commercial, many women wondered on what number to dial him on. Earlier seen in Kyun! Ho Gaya Na..., Luck By Chance and My Name Is Khan, this boy-next-door is perfect take home material.
Name: Ali Fazal
Debut: 3 Idiots
When they saw Ali Fazal strum the guitar and sing 'Give me some sunshine, give me some rain,' in 3 idiots, many young girls went ....awwww! Very few actors look as delectable on screen as much on the stage
