How Jose Mourinho got the sack from Chelsea

After attending training session followed by the club’s Christmas lunch with players, Jose Mourinho was sacked by Chelsea in a 10-minute meeting

London: Jose Mourinho’s sacking by Chelsea was depicted as an early Christmas carve up on Friday as the British press reported he had been let go after a holiday lunch with players.

The reports add that Mourinho was told of his fate by chairman Bruce Buck and director Eugene Tenenbaum in a meeting which lasted just 10 minutes. A hooded man, presumably Mourinho, was then spotted being driven out of the club by a chauffeur. While earlier reports claimed this was the 52-year-old, publications like The Sun later pointed out that the man was not Mourinho.
