HP recently launched a new range of professional monitors and mobile as well as desktop workstations, designed to meet the needs of designers, content creators and knowledge workers across the enterprise
Part of its Z line of products, the workstations are not only lighter but also feature high-end graphic and imaging technologies. The ZBook 14, a 14-inch portable workstation, for example, is the first workstation to feature Intel’s Thunderbolt technology that enables high-speed data transfer between workstations.

The Zbook is priced at R1.50 lakhs. The ZBook14 and other mobile workstations will run on the 4th Generation Intel Haswell dual and quad core processors and feature graphics technologies from NVIDIA and AMD. The line-up also includes HP Thin Client Mount Kit, which could be used to mount a slim desktop on the back of its professional monitors.
Cost The products are priced between R75,000 and R1.5 lakhs
