Former India player Hrishikesh Kanitkar retired from all forms on cricket, ESPNCricinfo reported yesterday.

The 40-year-old, who last played a first-class game more than 18 months ago and has scored 10,000-plus runs in first-class matches, played two Tests and 34 ODIs.
