Asus has launched the ROG Strix GL553 compact ultralight gaming laptop in India under the company’s Republic of Gamers (ROG) range at a massive starting price of Rs. 94,990. The high-end gaming laptop by Asus was initially unveiled in CES 2017.
The GL553 sports 15.6-inch full-HD display and a compatible user-friendly keyboard with four distinct lighting areas and 30-key rollover. Apart from the classy display and gamer-friendly keypad, some other specifications of the laptop include:
• fixed 48WHr battery
• 32GB DDR4 RAM
• HD webcam,
• GeForce GTX 1050Ti with 4GB of GDDR4 video memory
• One headphone/microphone combo jack
• 2-in-1 card reader
• USB 3.0, USB 2.0 port and HDMI port, and
• 2.5kg weight and 383x255x21mm in dimension.
The gaming laptop is available in two variants- Intel Core i5-7300HQ and Core i7-7700HQ processors, packed with either 8GB or with 16GB of 2400MHz DDR4 RAM. Asus India has ensured that the product fits the category of youngsters who are into regular and heavy gaming activity. The company also ensured that the device is packed with powerful battery and strong hardware.
