Los Angeles: Hugh Jackman is taking no chance after undergoing treatment for a second bout of skin cancer. 'The Wolverine' star, however, was in good spirits as he sported a bandage on the side of his nose during the 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' premiere in New York City, reported People magazine.

The 45-year-old actor took the opportunity to call out to his fans to get regular check-ups and wear sunscreen. Asked how his face was doing, he said, "My face? It's fine, it's good. Thank you for asking. I have a few stitches, I had a basal cell carcinoma taken out.
"Tell all your readers: get check ups, wear sunscreen. It's all about prevention." Jackman confirmed the cancer "is out, it's fixed, and I'll get myself checked up. It's all about catching these things early."
