I have been in a relationship with this guy for almost a year. He sometimes tells me he loves me and is planning a future with me. Then at other times he considers me just as a friend. All this leaves me totally confused. When I tell him that I am serious about him, he changes his track and then goes out of his way to woo me. This lasts for only a few days because then for a fortnight he goes without talking to me and not taking my calls. I am then on tenterhooks as I wonder if all is well on his front. Then out of the blue he calls to say that he was neck deep in work so could not respond. Then for a few days things are okay with us till he harbours thoughts whether I will fit in with his family. At such times he does not want to be with me. At the same time he does not like it when I talk to other men. I just don't know what to do anymore. Should I continue in this relationship or just walk away?

Your guy is like a yo yo oscillating from one thought to another. It is time he decide what he wants to do in life. From the looks of it, he is extremely unreliable and juvenile. No mature and responsible guy would behave in this manner. When he disappears and distances himself from you, he leaves you in the lurch and you have no clue what is happening. It is time you stop being the doormat and taking his nonsense all the time. It just takes a SMS to inform you about his whereabouts. This man cannot be trusted at all due to his erratic behaviour. You are blinded in his love and do not see that this man is only there to make you feel miserable. Tell him to shape up or just let go off him. You don't need a guy who pops in and out of your life according to his convenience and leisure. It is time he realised that he cannot get away with his nonsense and you have to make him realise it by giving him an ultimatum.
