This may sound like music to the ears of some club hoppers in the city. We had earlier reported how DJ Aqeel was going to have the curtains come down on his nightclub Hype in ‘DJ Aqeel’s club Hype to down shutters’. However, sources say Aqeel has had a change of heart and is now trying his best to have the place up and running again.
Initially, Aqeel was believed to be looking for investors to help revamp his club. But with the talks coming to naught, he had apparently decided to shut shop. However, an excited Aqeel tells us, “Hype is very much functional. I performed there on Saturday night also. I have changed my mind now and I am revamping it. I have got some investors and since every club needs a facelift, we will be doing the needful now.”
The DJ’s close friend and real estate businessman Shadaab Patel is apparently helping him gather funds. Says Shadaab, “Aqeel is my best buddy and I will do whatever I can to help him. My friend knows the right way to improve the business.”
