'I can't get my ex out of my head!'

Updated on: 12 December,2012 06:40 AM IST  |
Dear Diana |

Dear Diana, I just can't get my ex out of my mind. We were together for two years but he was different than any other man I had ever met.

'I can't get my ex out of my head!'

Since we split (it was his decision), he has gone from strength to strength with his work and is generally getting on well with everything. I, on the other hand, have not moved on at all. I’m still in hope that he’ll come back to me. I have no reminders of him at all, yet he is still the first person I think of every morning and the last before I go to bed. I’ve been attracted to other guys but it was something different with this man.

Dear Roofi,
First of all, get it out of your head that he will come back. He will not as he wanted to end the relationship. In all probability he may have found someone else, no wonder he is not looking back. Even if he has not found someone else, there is no space for you in his life. The faster you get this in your head the better and the faster you move on in life. You are still obsessed with him and that is making life more difficult for you. Keep yourself occupied and the next time your mind wanders to him remember that he was not worthy of you. He dumped you remember, so why are you even thinking of him in the first place?

Diana will solve it!
