I was friendly with a guy in office. Though we had been working at the same place for three years, I barely used to speak to him. But I always felt he was the guy for me. He always looked at me. Eventually it took just one email to get us together. He had sent me a work-related mail and I replied and then he replied. We tried to be funny about the work front. He would mail me his take while I would mail my reply. This went on for a while after which he offered to drop me home one day. After that we just hit it off well. He would often drop me home and we would talk on phone late night. We became inseparable. All was going well till he decided to stop talking to me. It has been two months now. I have tried to talk to him, but he is just not interested. I feel he owes me an explanation. Why did he suddenly walk away? What is going on in his mind? He can at least tell me what went wrong. I only wanted his friendship. What's worse is that I have to see his face in the office everyday.

There is something going on in his mind and it is strange that he is not telling you the truth. He certainly owes you an explanation as it will be easier for you to move on. It appears that you are still pining for him while he has walked away. It is strange that he did not drop any hints nor did he tell you what was irking you. What is upsetting you is that you see him everyday in office, but when he does not care, you too should stop wondering what went wrong. May be the guy felt you were getting too close to him and before one thing could lead to another he decided to put a full stop. If he remains silent and does not want to talk to you, do not even bother to ask him what went wrong. Just go about your life and next time find someone worthy of your friendship and love.
