I have no need to prove anything to others, says Virat Kohli

London: He has seen success across all three formats during the last few years which elevated him to the status of team's 'Numero Uno' batsman but Virat Kohli feels that there comes a point in someone's career when one doesn't feel an urge "to prove anything to others".

“Initially, you try to prove it to the critics that you’re good enough. Now I don’t feel the need to prove anything to people because I’ve realised that it is not important to prove anything to others. It’s important what I think of my performances,” Kohli told BCCI.TV yesterday.
