Sushi for the soul
I am a good cook. I like cooking and having dal, spinach and paneer along with rice. I also like cooking Italian cuisine like spaghetti and pizza. My favourite cuisine is Japanese, but when I am a disaster at cooking it, especially the hand rolled sushis (winks). Otherwise, I am good at tempuras. I can’t cook a complete Japanese meal though.
People love my carrot cake with cream cheese dressing. Everybody who has had it, calls for it over and over again. The measurements of ingredients need to be right and the pinch of salt does the little magic. I also add cinnamon. Cinnamon is my favourite spice.
No regime please
I believe in eating everything in right proportion. But I don’t follow any strict diet. If I diet even for a week, I feel like ‘Oh my God, I have missed out on eating so much food.’ And then I shove my face with food. I am a coffee person but I have recently cut down a lot on it as it is bad for the skin. Being in this profession, I must take care. I have shifted to the healthier option of green tea.
If I return home at 3 am, then I simply go for a cup of milk with some hot cocoa. It instantly puts me to sleep. Otherwise, if I am really hungry, then it’s egg-fried rice as they are always in the fridge. All I do is add the available veggies and some pepper and salt. Or else, ice cream’s the saviour.
