Aditya Roy Kapur has been shooting in Lucknow for the past few weeks and the young actor has found a new friend in his director Habib Faisal on the sets of Dawat-e-Ishq which also stars Parineeti Chopra.
A unit member says, “Aditya is amazed by the kind of knowledge that Habib has not only about Lucknow, but also about India and it’s various cultures and people. Habib was a journalist before turning director so he is well travelled with immense knowledge about the country.”
During the breaks and off days, Aditya and Habib are often spotted exploring the city and having lengthy conversations. The actor considers him as his friend and guide and loves to listen to him.
“Aditya had not had a chance to travel a lot so he is making the most of it and is usually seen interacting and discussing various subjects of India and trying to grasp as much knowledge as possible from Habib. Aditya is meeting the locals in the city and understanding their culture. They also go around town and gorge on special Lucknow delicacies and take a tour of places which are close to the location,” adds the insider.
Aditya says, “I really like to interact and discuss things with Habib sir. His command is so vast that I get to learn so much just by talking to him.”
