Chris Brown has admitted that he has finally learned that beating a woman is wrong, three years after assaulting girlfriend Rihanna.
The singer has given yet another interview talking openly about the 2009 attack and promised that it will “never happen again,” the Mirror reported.

Brown appeared on the Today show to promote his new album ‘Fine China’, and the 23-year-old rapper said that his 52 week stint in domestic violence counselling finally made him understand the full implications of his attack on Rihanna before the Grammy Awards in 2009.
“I think it is just proving myself once again and me being a man. Knowing what I did was wrong and never doing it again,” he told the show’s presenter Matt Lauer.
“As far as [Rihanna] and I are concerned, she knows my heart and I know her heart. I am not really focused on the negative, everything is positive for me. I did my 52 weeks of couselling and learned it was absolutely wrong,” he said.
When asked if he could promise that it won’t ever happen again, Brown, who officially reunited with the ‘Umbrella’ hitmaker earlier this year, repeatedly said “absolutely”.
